Warsaw, Poland– May 15, 2018 – Kontomatik, the leading banking API in Europe, has appointed Piotr Warsicki as its new CEO. Officially starting on May 7th, Warsicki takes over from founder and current CEO Marcin Truszel, who will stay with the company as a board-member.
Kontomatik allows customers to electronically access the bank account information and share with financial services or Fintechs. Founded in 2009 by Marcin Truszel and being acquired by Kreditech in 2015, the company quickly transformed into a leading account information service provider, supporting over 120 banks in 10 countries.
Preparing for its next phase of growth
Piotr Warsicki has built a career in financial services and payments with companies like Visa, mPay, SkyCash and holds a Master’s degree of Management and Marketing from Poznań University of Economics, His international experience and proven track record across the payment services sector in UK and Poland make him the perfect fit to lead Kontomatik to its next phase of growth.,

Getting ready for PSD 2
With its change in management, the company prepares for its next phase of development and responds to a shift in strategic focus fueled by the recent regulatory changes as introduced by PSD2.
Kontomatik is currently in the process of obtaining an Account Information Service Provider (ASIP) license with the goal to operate its services in line with PSD2 regulation across Europe.
